A “full” warm night

Well, there is a miserable thing happened on me, that is, I have gained totally 4kg since I entered the university. So sadLLL. Recently, I went to “bravohotpot” with the members of sign language club. The most wonderful thing is that I could take the meat without limitation, and the mango mousse and brown-sugar mochi there are also excellent! The girl next to me is from Department of Plant Pathology. To my surprise, it is interesting that most of their activities are related to “food” and “eat”, such as “big eater game” and “黑暗料理大賽”(I can’t found how it spell on the internet?). The foods they eat in “big eater game” are unbelievably good, which includes pizza, corn potage, tiramisu, fried noodles…..and so on. By the way, it also cost you 40NT Dollars, and you can enjoy those delicious dishes!

P.S. On that night, I had repeated”why do I be in the Department of Foreign Language” for several times!!

A tree of life

Today my Chinese teacher asked us to make a tree, which is made of paper and straws. He gave every person a piece of colored paper and let us write down the bad, regretted, or sad experience on the backside, then; torn it off. The next step is to stick the torn paper on the base, which means that those poor memories will be the nutrient for our life. We also made various "leaves” with letters on them. For example, I wrote the words like ”confidience”,”patience”,”hope”,”steady”,and”concentration”. In other words, it is also my New Year’s resolution. This class made me back to the childhood and enjoy the process of doing art works. However, my Chinese teacher won’t teach us in the next semester. He needs to back to Tunghai University and finishes his doctorate degree. I think I will miss him, because he taught us not only Chinese but life education. Besides, we don’t have much homework (the most important reason!!), so I hope the next teacher can be as good as him. Please!!

new courses

Recently, I have a high passion for arranging the courses next semester. After one semester in Chung Hsing University, I’m glad that I have more experience of how to choose course and putting them into the proper time.
In the next semester, I want to select modern dance or yoga as my Physical class, because the volleyball test is somewhat hard for me and I am willing to try other courses. In addition, it can lose weight, shape my body, and do exercise at the same time! There are also some new courses that sound interesting, like “The Life of Rice” (Who named this cute name?), “Gangster Films and Aesthetics of Violence” (It sounds interesting but I had heard that the teacher is boring) and” Introduction to the Bible” (God bless the people who enrolls in this course). It is really a hard work to make a decision from so many different courses, but what I’m sure is that I want to choose the class that can teach me a lot and enrich my knowledge. By this way, I think it can avoid wasting time and increase my passion for life.

for the new year

Last week, I enjoyed a precious four-day holiday in Lin-Cou. Actually, I am really intoxicated with the Chinese New Year atmosphere, which shows in several different ways, such as Chinese New Year songs around the streets, red decorated style, big Christmas trees, congratulation card from friends…..and so on. As the New Year coming, I’m so expected to visit my grandma’s house and hang out my time there. We would visit many temples, get red envelopes (this is the most important one), eat hot pot (in my grandma’s house, there is a pot that can stew meals for more than 10 people!). On 12/31, I was counting down with my family at home and ate delicious tangyuan made by my mom. At the final moment of last year, I wished that I could be a mature and responsible person in the future.
