an interesting night

Since my recent life is too dull and annoying, so I decide to talk about the interesting experience two weeks before. Thanks to my roommate, so I could visit 樸軒(well, I have no idea how to spell it) to see horror movie with Thai. At first, I had a little bit scare because the light were turned off, which made me recall the ghost-stories that were told by senior in welcome camp. But after several minutes, this feeling was replaced by a kind of appreciation, for there was no subtitle on that Thai horror movie, but they even translated for us in patience! And I also found that the best way to train speaking skill is to chat with foreign people because you will try whatever word you can use to convey your meaning. At that night, I fortunately had the chance to taste Thai instant noodles. Well, it just liked the taste I had experienced in Bali Island and actually I still like Taiwanese food the most. In the end, the ghost is not as scary as I had imagined before, but I still had a good night thereJ. By the way, some people practiced for choir competition at basement these days. It sends shivers down my spine!

My recent condition

I think the first year of college is an important step to decide what kind of person I would be. I think I have a little got lost in these days as I spent much time on choir and cheerleading competition. Although I didn’t regret joining in these two events, but sometimes, I would confuse and not knowing what I am doing. It seems that I always busy myself with trifles but not to do the significant things that really need to be finished. So maybe it is the time that I should change my lifestyle to adapt to busy challenge new life. I think this process is what exactly makes us mature and independent. Where there is a crisis, there is an opportunity. And the first thing I want to change is never lounging in bed again!

A recent trip

This summer vacation, I went to Bali Island with my family and had enjoyed the cozy time of being together. For me, this trip was not only a trip as usual. It means the last time I enjoyed the company of my family before I entered the college. When I came back, I would leave home and face a whole new world in the following four years.
As I stepped out of the airport, a kind of excitement came into my heart. I could hardly wait to experience the different culture and activities there. When the bus road, I could see many stone sculptures and artistic works of their gods. Our tour guide is a humorous and talkative man, who introduced the scenic spots in an interesting way. The food there almost adds various spices to accelerate your appetite. My favorite specialty there was shrimp pastry, which provided many kinds of sauces to dip. Another thing you can’t miss is their spa. But to my embarrassment, I couldn’t really enjoy this service, for I easily felt itchy when the massagist touch my waist and back bones. To this reason, I couldn’t relax but tremble ceaselessly in that one hour!
The things I experienced there were too much to write, but most important of all, if you want to take a short trip to relax yourself, Bali is a good choice to considerate!

My thoughts of university

After the two-week adaption period of Chung Hsing University, I experienced a entirely different life style, which made me totally lost at first. In university, there is no teacher who always pushes you to study anymore. You must learn to use time more efficiently to handle the things one after another. To my surprise, homework in department of foreign languages are so heavy that I need to stay up to finish them, which broke up my imagination that students can play without limit in the first year of university. But in this process, I wish I can learn more than in senior high, for the point of university education is “autonomous learning”, which would make us independent and transform into an adult from exterior to interior. For this expectancy, I want to explore more interests and abilities that I hadn’t done before, and had an enriched time in university.
